e continued his search for rationality. He had once again opened his eyes in the dark cave and found Euclid again poking at the fire with a stick. The fire had returned alive with vigor and putting out heat in such a rate that you woul d think that it was trying to make up for lost time. e was tired and had no desire to move. Instead, he opted to simply watch Euclid for a bit silently. Euclid only stared directly into the fire and watched it dance as it popped and cracked. He prodded gently and mechanically with the stick until the fire was thriving with all the more vigor. The fire had once again mesmerized e, and he must have watched it dance back and forth for several minutes before the silence broke. Without looking up towards e, Euclid spoke.
